Letter U u tracing

Capital U: Start at the top line on the left and pull straight down. Curve around along the baseline and push straight up to the top line on the right. Lowercase u: Start at the midline and pull straight down. Curve around along the baseline and up to the midline on the right. Without lifting, pull straight back down to the baseline.

Stroke order

Capital U: Start at the top line on the left and pull straight down. Curve around along the baseline and push straight up to the top line on the right.

Lowercase u: Start at the midline and pull straight down. Curve around along the baseline and up to the midline on the right. Without lifting, pull straight back down to the baseline.

Tip: Lowercase u needs the little line down the right side. Without it, the u looks like the capital U.
